On the way down to Kuala Lumpur to take my plane back home, I pass by the places I liked in Malaysia. Quick stop in Kulim, Penang and Ipoh.

It was rambutan season!
When you bite the seeds, they have a hazenult taste that goes well with the fruit.
After I eat a few, they tell me don't eat the seeds raw, you should roast them!
Turns out the raw seeds are poisonous and locals roast them to deactivate the poison.
Apparently, if you eat just a few, it's OK. I ate 5 and I survived!
