Overnight train
Taking the train from South Thailand to Chiang Mai is a bit long. 10 hour train to Bangkok and another 10 hour train to Chiang Mai.
Sounds like an adventure to me!
And since I wanted the complete local experience, I bought the overnight ticket in the cheapest coach -- called "hard seats".
Well, I found out it's called that name for a reason. That night was painfully uncomfortable.
Lesson learned, I am taking sleeping coach next time!

End of the 6 months trip
This trip gave a new impulse in my life.
It was a bit tough and lonely sometimes. But it made me feel free and alive.
I found a new home in Chiang Mai. The more I stayed there, the more I liked it. The vast beach in Da Nang gave me head space. Bandung was not always easy, but it was full of good vibes, authenticity and adventure.
Also, on this trip I finally found the receipe for working while travelling.
Book a comfortable studio, stay in one place, don't be a tourist, and find a good library.
It opened up a world of possibilities for me!
The way I was hoping when I choose to be a webdev and launched my own business.
As I was leaving, I was already making plans for the next big trip!
